Terms of service

1. The service

WorthPitching looks up companies by domain and returns public company information, a fit score against the ideal customer you describe, signals about what changed, and a suggested opening line. It is available in the web app, through our API and through our MCP server. It is a business tool, intended for use by companies and professionals.

2. Accounts and API keys

Give accurate signup details and keep your password and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and keys. Tell us at daniel@danielsmidstrup.com if you think a key has leaked, and revoke it in Settings.

3. Trials, plans and credits

• New accounts start with a 7-day trial and the trial credits shown on the pricing page.
• Lookups use credits. The number of credits per lookup and per plan is shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard.
• Paid plans renew each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time; you will not be charged again after the current period.
• Payments are processed by our payment provider. Your card details never reach our servers.

4. Refunds and the EU right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. You can ask for the service to start straight away. To withdraw, email daniel@danielsmidstrup.com.

Outside that window, the current billing period is not refundable, but you can cancel at any time. If something went wrong on our side, contact us and we will look at it case by case.

5. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Resell, republish or bulk-redistribute WorthPitching data as a dataset or competing product.
• Get around credit limits, rate limits, free-lookup limits or security measures, or share accounts to do so.
• Use WorthPitching to break the law, including data protection, anti-spam and marketing rules.
• Interfere with the service or try to access other customers' data.

You are responsible for how you use the results, including any outreach you send. Make sure your outreach follows the rules that apply to you and the people you contact.

6. Data accuracy

Company information comes from public sources and third-party providers, each shown with its source and date. Search traffic is an estimate, not measured visits. Fit scores, why-now lines and openers are generated automatically from that data. Public sources can be incomplete or out of date, so check important facts before relying on them. We provide the data "as is" and do not guarantee that it is complete, accurate or current.

7. Your content

You keep the rights to what you put in, such as your ICP description and watchlists. You let us use it only to provide and improve the service for you, as described in the privacy policy.

8. Suspension and deletion

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time at daniel@danielsmidstrup.com; we delete or anonymize account data within 30 days, except records the law requires us to keep.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to WorthPitching is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost deals. These limits do not apply to gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. For material changes we will tell account holders by email or in the app at least 30 days before they apply. Continuing to use WorthPitching after that means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes go to the competent courts in Copenhagen, Denmark, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country gives you a different venue.
